It all started with a boy and his older brother, wob. Although he had been in crypto since 2016, wob first fell in love with NFTs in the summer of 2021. Being a digital artist himself, he was fascinated by the possibility of artists becoming sovereign, musicians owning their royalties and the seemingly limitless potential of digital ownership.
Nico is a 12-year-old self-proclaimed doodlist and a very special kid. He is neurodivergent and loves to express himself through art. He uses art to create his own reality, one where his imagination can run wild, and anything is possible. When wob first showed Nico NFTs, he laughed at the idea that his art could ever be worth anything to someone.
After spending time together for the holidays, wob showed Nico artists like Danny Cole (creatures), Clon (cool cats) and Mason (alien frens). Suddenly, things started to click.
Living on two different continents, the brothers don’t get to see each other often. Every time they do, it’s always special. This time was no different. After their family festivities, wob and Nico did what they always did when they were together — doodled.
As they started doodling, they drew up many different creatures based on Nico’s previous creations. Eventually, Nico helped wob create what would become the first tinyfren. It was far from the tinyfrens we see today but that was okay. Ultimately, wob wanted to prove to Nico that they could do it. He wanted to prove that he could bring their imagination to life.
They were enchanted by the playful, child-like art that had inspired their creative journey. It felt alive. A style of art that brought a smile to your face. They laughed and doodled for hours and hours.

Our first tinyfren was born.
Nico had planted the seed, and now it was wob’s responsibility to ensure that it would grow. Although wob knew what he wanted for tinyfrens, he also knew something was missing. After weeks of searching for a talented artist who aligned with our mission, the universe brought wob to Satchi.
With a background in child illustrations, it was truly a perfect match. Wob immediately fell in love with her art and knew her adorable and child-like style would be the final step in truly bringing his tinyfrens to life. He reached out to Satchi to explain to her our goals and his vision for the project. She felt strongly about our mission and joined the team as our incredibly talented artist. The tinyfrens you see today were forged by her hands.

Our Mission
tinyfrens was born out of necessity — a drive to nurture and protect the youthful spirit. To revive that spirit within all onlookers who may have forgotten it even existed. By reconciling with the childish mind embedded within all of us, we will be able to see and truly understand the significant harm being done to our youth today.
The past decade, more specifically the past two years, has been hard on the world. During this time, we have placed the needs of adults before the needs of our children. We continue to do so to this day, even as adults around the globe have started to acknowledge and accept the harmful effects of the digital world.
Growing up in this technological age has put a toll on our youth’s social, neurological, and personal growth — not including the pandemic-induced physical isolation and overflow of new ways to distract ourselves.
While adults can (ideally) care for themselves, our children can’t.
All of this is at the heart of what tinyfrens dreams to accomplish.
To build a brand and community centered around supporting and helping our youth. To give back to our children all around the world. To find the inner child within us all through art. To inspire us to be as pure as we once were as kids and help fix the problems children face today — the issues we created.
We will help the youth grow into a generation of honest, intelligent, and loving people. Our goal is to take a step toward patching up the division within our world and reinvigorating a sense of love for humanity.
And that starts with us, the adults, the tinyfrens.
Our first step will be donating 50 ETH to charities currently acting out our mission.
This will be done upon mint out. That is a promise.
This is only the beginning of what we will do for our children. We hope you join us.

Update: We have changed the donation amount from 100 ETH to 50 ETH. The extra 50 ETH will be moved into the treasury to help build out our team and brand. The founders will not be touching any of that 50 ETH.
